Whew. I was at the rummage sale all day. It was a profitable day, though; they did really well!
And I ended up with almost everything I wanted. Which was both good and bad, really.
Here's a list of what I ended up with: (including links to auctions on ebay for pictures...)
1. Three Pyrex mixing bowls (the green one is missing from my set) for $5
2. A tapestry-style bedspread, and a green bedspread, the latter probably from Target
3. Three framed Keane paintings; $2 each (This one is my favorite)
4. A Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign for my barn (when I have a barn...) $2
5. A bobbin $.75
6. A wooden sewing box/basket (quite old) $4
7. A square glass jar with a lid for dried herbs $.50
8. Four picture frames, one from Target $1/each
9. Two tea tins $.25 each
10. One mustard tin $.75
11. A nice blue sweater $3.00
12. And a Rhythm Band Inc. Bluegrass Autoharp with case, tuner, and picks for $50 (I saw one on ebay that went for $189 that wasn't even as nice as mine. Unfortunately, the auction is over 30 days old, or I'd post a link to it as well.)
I think that's it. It seems like there was more, but maybe not. :)
Then, of course, the obligatory yard sales, where I picked up two nice framed mushroom prints for $2 each (for my garden-themed kitchen, of course (when I have one) and 42 pieces of these dishes for $4
All in all, a good day.
And, I sold three books, so I almost made back the money I spent (minus the autoharp) at the rummage sale. Ha.
