Last night before I went to bed, Fire and Water was 12,106 words. I am certainly not complaining!
And I did get out in the garden to enjoy the absolutely lovely weather last night--it was actually cool (but still very humid; it's 71 degrees in the house this morning and feels like it's 78)--and I staked more tomatoes and mulched the huckleberries and the sunberries. I also mulched the sedum around the mailbox and started shoveling the collected gunk from the sidewalk. (Hey, look! There is a sidewalk under there!)
Then I came in and wrote a bit more.
This week I have to work until 5pm, but that means I have an hour for lunch, so I'm hoping that I get a lot done this week as well.
