Finally processed the Giant Squash that Mom gave to me. I did have to toss one in the compost, because it had a pretty extensive bad spot, but the other one was just fine. About a dozen cups of purée, plus there's a piece left in the fridge--I'm planning to use that in soup, cubed. Also, squash bread is baking right now. 

It's been raining off and on for hours, but I did get a lot done in the garden this morning, so it was a nice, productive day.
