Planting

I picked up some herb plants on Sunday--thyme, oregano (mine did not come back after the winter), fennel, pineapple sage (makes a great tea), parsley (after five years, the pot of parsley finally petered out), and globe basil. I also bought an Egyptian papyrus plant, bee balm, and black eyed Susan. (All plants.)

The bee balm and black eyed Susan went in the front bed with the multitude of day lilies and the echinacea. Hopefully they will like it there. The perennial herbs will go in the kitchen garden; the others will go into pots.

Garden 2014 is slowly coming along.
