Even with a new spark plug, the tiller did not want to till very long. It lasted for 45 minutes until it got clogged with ground ivy, and then it quickly got clogged again, and then I couldn't get it to start again. So I gave up. (It was getting a bit dark, too.)

I can dig up the rest of the garden by hand; it's not that much, really.

The ground is so nice and brown, though!

This will be, I hope, my last year to till, since I am starting Ruth Stout's No Work Gardening Method. (Which, is, essentially, MULCH. And lots of it.)

I will start planting tomorrow.
