So I want to carve my own crochet hooks, and I really like the ones that are carved from branches, but I got to thinking. What could I use and recycle and carve crochet hooks? I walked upstairs to my crafting room and looked around for something suitable. Hmmm.
And then I found it. And in the space of not much time at all, I had my very first Dead Paintbrush Crochet Hook.
For my first attempt, it's not that bad, although I really need to buy more sandpaper if I'm going to do this in any sort of quantity, because the sandpaper I have is really too fine to start with.
Otherwise, all I used was my trusty carving knife and my coping saw.
