My next door neighbor's house caught fire last night, and to me, it looks pretty totaled. My house was never in danger, but it was still scary. If the wind had been blowing the wrong way (it wasn't blowing, so everything went straight up) there could have been some problems. Not necessarily with my house, since it sits back, but with his garage, etc.
No word on how he's doing; they had to aircare him out due to burns.
