My subconscious obliged me with part of the plot for the next Karen Montgomery story today--it might actually be a novel this time if I play my cards right.
However, it's really third on my list--Transformation is first, of course, then the next Jacob Lane book, which is also burbling a bit, and then I could write Detour, which is the title of the next Karen Montgomery story. And then, Scarecrows, the next Beth-Hill book, which is also burbling.
It's still tempting to attempt to finish Transformation by November 1st and do NaNoWriMo by writing The Sixth Stone. (The next Jacob Lane book.) But we'll see.
