Well, I wanted to see how far I could get in the dining room by noon--I'm pleased with my progress so far. I meant to take a before picture, but I forgot, and by the time I remembered, it was too late. So the church pew is in place, and I really like how it looks. My window seat lives!
(Don't mind the half-torn-off wallpaper. And the radiator is behind the church pew--it's a deep bay window.)
Gosh, I can't believe how much nicer it looks!
Now, pretty much all there is to do is lug stuff upstairs, so that's what I'll be doing for the afternoon. I may bring in some of the small plants today, just to do it; we'll see if I end up having time.
I am so pleased with how this worked out. :)
