The serger is threaded, and I have serged. Or sewn. Or whatever.

It works great, but there's a learning curve, as the cutter (I think) is cutting too wide or something, and the stitches are making a nice little frill of decoration along the edge, which is not what it's supposed to do.

It took me about 30 minutes to thread it, by using the diagrams and the already threaded bits from the factory. I made a knitting needle case and a large bag that is probably going to end up being used to wrap a Christmas present. Hmm, that would be a way to get rid of some fabric, wouldn't it? :)

Next up: Actually finding a place in the office for the serger. Which means cleaning.

Tonight: tuning the new harp, and finding a name.
