Hmm, St. Lucy's soup is... interesting. It's tasty, don't get me wrong, and the recipe definitely makes a lot of it; I'll be eating it all week long, I'm sure. I added fresh mushrooms to the original recipe, along with some oregano. I also ordered the Twelve Months of Monastery Soups and Twelve Months of Monastery Salads books, because they both sounded good. (And the others are on my list-to-buy as well.)

I did not get out in the kitchen garden today. My back is not happy with me even after a good night's rest, so I've been taking it easy. I can't quite decide if wearing my back brace thingy makes it worse or better, so it's off for the time being.

I have auctions to post this evening, and auctions to box up to mail tomorrow. Among other things...
