Ah, there we go. Two things to report this evening:
Day 3:
Walked 1 mile in righteous fury, but only managed to shave five minutes off my time. I made it home in 25 minutes. Oh well. Vicki told me today that a good time for a mile is 15 minutes. I don't know if I'll ever make it there. *g*
And, the truly momentous news:
With a rather short, but respectable, wordcount of 63,010.
I would like to expand it to 80k, but I think I'm going to work on finishing the sequel first. And boy, that last chapter was depressing.
