A Quiet 4th of July...

It's been a quiet kind of day here, due to the rain, which hasn't stopped all day. But I've been enjoying my day nonetheless; listening to the classical music station and puttering around the kitchen (to the tune of pizza dough, a squash casserole, which tastes great, chocolate chip pecan cookies, and a loaf of bread) and getting some other stuff done around the house.

This weekend will also be an at-home weekend, which will be nice. I'd like to get some actual work done (mainly in the laundry room/kitchen), so we'll see how things go weather-wise with all of that.
