Short update--
Dad is in the hospital for surgery (this was scheduled) so basically I haven't been home much at all except to sleep in the past two days.
He is doing well, though, and that's good!
But the hospital air is sooooo dry that my sinuses are in revolt. Ah well. I knew it was too good to be true to hope that I wouldn't get a sinus cold this year.
