It took me three tries to get the star remotely straight.I could use some practice on my lettering, but since I only make cakes like this a couple times a year...
And guess what? I get to use my handy cake carrier that I found at Burlington last month. The cupcakes fit in the top, the cake in the middle, and there's a spot for ice packs in the third section. I love this thing. So handy! (It looks like this, except mine is in better shape.)
ETA: Hmm, actually, this cake looks a lot better than the first Captain America Shield cake we made for Ethan. Wouldn't you agree? :)
