I will admit to trying to butter up B to let me adopt a kitten in the next few months... although, Zoe might not like that too well (cranky old 17-year-old cat, probably not too surprising at all...)
I've found that kittens are easier to introduce to older cats versus other adult cats. I think they see the kitten as less of a threat. At least that's how it's worked at my house!
