I just made a bag using one strip of fabric--around 90" long--and magically folding and fastening ends together and voila! A bag. It's quite a nice bag, too. I wish I could find the website again where I saw the directions. (It was a handwoven blog, and I thought that was a great idea to use for long strips of handwoven fabric; the fabric I have on the Emilia right now will be my first attempt at a handwoven bag in this style, I think.)
Or maybe I'll finish up the one on Ester and use it that way. Hmmm! That one would be very narrow, but who cares? Narrow bags are useful too...
