So. I have a ribbon hat, which is my hat of choice to wear out in the garden. After buying the tape loom, I had an idea--I could weave ribbons (tapes) to then sew into hats!

However, does anyone have a good way for me to discern how much tape I'd have to weave for one hat? Other than actually measuring it? I could, I realize, make a mock hat out of the spools of fabric I have for weaving, and that's probably what I will end up doing. But I thought someone might be able to come up with a formula.

It's like, algebra. Math, I tell you! Math*!

*Not my best subject. And yes, my job description says 'accountant'. I don't understand that either.
