I called in late to work this morning; I have to dig out the end of my driveway so I can get out of my driveway, and it was only 10 degrees outside, and I'm not one to court frostbite just to get to work on time.
So. Now it's 12 degrees outside! Improvement! I'm going to suit up in a minute here, wear my heaviest snow boots, my really warm hat (and scarf) and my Carhartt coat, and use my new snow shovel for the very first time.
And then I will come in, take a shower, get dressed, and head off to work. Thank goodness it's Friday. There is nothing (that I know of, at least) going on tomorrow, so I will be cleaning. There's an auction on Sunday, but we'll see if it's too cold to go.
