43,238 and done for the night. That means, I wrote 6,066 words today. Whew!
I was worried for a bit that the second section (the one I am about to start) wouldn't exist, because I could have ended the story in about 20k words. But it worked just fine--Josiah surprised me and that's not a bad thing at all.
But it's kind of hard to type when there's a cat lying beside my keyboard who thinks my moving fingers are moving for her pleasure and not because I'm actually working, you know? (But I do like it when Chloe decides to sleep beside my keyboard.)
I doubt I'll get as much written tomorrow; I am wrapping up Part 1 in the next couple of chapters and then I'll start on Part 2.
