I bet this tastes better than any tomato soup you'd find in a jar!

A tip from a cookbook I was reading earlier: (Of course, I can't find it now, so I can't cite the source.)

Dehydrate extra tomatoes until the tomatoes are really crispy, then grind them up either using an actual grain mill or a blender. Mix the ground tomato 'crystals' with milk for instant tomato soup.

I imagine this would keep very well!
