Church is having a pig roast this evening, and I am in charge of bread. Nine loaves--four Honey French, four Italian, and one Dried Tomato/Basil/Garlic experiment loaf (that smells wonderful) are cooling on my kitchen table at the moment. I'm keeping the two smaller loaves, and the rest, including the experiment, will go up to church for supper tonight.
I also went picking in the garden, and ended up with a half bushel full of tomatoes (mostly), cucumbers, okra, dried beans, potatoes, and beets. I'm still working through that at the moment. And I'm drying peaches--one batch using every tray. That still leaves me with four or five peaches to eat, which will be just fine.
