I know I've said it before, but I'm very, very, very glad that my blackberries are thornless! If they weren't, I would be in trouble. Deep, deep trouble.
Ack. I'm only about halfway through the patch (tidying them up, snipping rooted canes, etc.) and I've been out there for over an hour. Just looking at the canes, which are thicker than my thumb in some spots, I should have at least double the amount of blackberries I got last year.
Whew! I might not get out front today after all.
