Why didn't anyone tell me there were such things as portable air conditioners? And even portable combination air conditioners/heaters?!?
Having a tiny little exhaust thingy sticking out the bottom of the window is so much better than a the huge butt-end of a window air conditioner. They're a bit more expensive, but still. From my standpoint, since I can't have central air without cutting into my hundred-year-old oak floors (it will never happen), getting a couple of these portables is an easy alternative to expensive whole-house air conditioning systems like Space-Pak.
Another thing to put on my list for the future...
