A quick update before I finish getting ready for work:
It rained a little yesterday. Enough for me to be able to plant the rest of the tomatoes out in the section of the flower bed reserved for them.
But last night--amid at least three different thunderstorms--around two inches of rain! Yay!! Everything is green again, I can finish working up the dirt in the flower bed so I can plant more stuff, and I will definitely have to mow on Saturday. (But that's ok!)
The crisis is past, for now. Here's to hoping for more regular rain!
Now I'd best get going, or I'll be late.
