Last fall, I bought a tiny cactus from Lowe's. They had a bunch of cacti in clearance for ridiculous prices (like $.72 and $.54, iirc) so I bought four.
Yesterday, the tiny cactus bloomed. The flower was much larger than it was, of course, and I had to stabilize its pot so the poor thing wouldn't fall over. It was a pale pink, and actually smelled like a flower, unlike other cacti flowers that smell like dead animals or worse.
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get a picture of the bloom last night. But here's a picture of the cactus. I guess it must really like that window. :)
