I made this.


Icelandic wool and alpaca/wool blend. Two-ply. Thick-n-thin, but that's ok. Very pretty! I love the colors together. Plying wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be.

I thought so too, but I did crochet it up into a vessel cozy for the short vase thingy I've been keeping my button spindles in. (There are too many now, and they sometimes fall out, so now I can stick the knitting needles through the fiber and it works great!)
