Got to 50k, and mapped out the next four chapters. I got to merge part of the old stuff today, but it needed some reworking. The next merge section also needs reworking, but it shouldn't be that bad.
I really want this to be 90k; I really do. I'm just not sure I have 40k of story left. Now I can, however, get to 80k (I think; that's only another 120 or so pages, after all, and I know I have another 100 pages of story to go, at the least) so I shouldn't have much of a problem managing 90k as an end result. I'm sure I'll see places I can add things in after the fact.
It's quiet tonight. Chris is working a 16 hour day!! Yikes.
