Oh, and the best news of all? IT RAINED! FOR TWO HOURS! And there was lots and lots of wet stuff. Around 5pm I was working in the kitchen when I realized that it was getting dark outside. Like, really dark. I walked out to take my laundry down (last load of towels, sheets, and quilts) and had to put half of it in the dryer to finish drying. And it rained for the next two hours! Yay! My plants will be happy.
I didn't get out to the garden because of the rain, so I'll have to do that tomorrow. But I am making cherry tomato raisins (in my dehydrator; whole sweet 100 cherry tomatoes) so we'll see how that goes.
