Well, the big switcheroo... worked. Without a single hitch, and now we have lots and lots of room for more pantry-related items, which wasn't the case before. One cabinet has canned foods in it, the other boxes. The jars that we do buy will probably go in with the boxes, but we'll see.
All the metal bakeware and the pots and pans fit perfectly on the one shelf. I even hung a few up on the built-in hanging thingy at the top of the tall section. I couldn't have asked for it to fit any better.
Yay!
So that means the laundry room is just about done, except for getting rid of clean laundry and putting away some towels. I still have to do dishes, though. Later.
