Had to revise my wordcount that I posted; I was over 77k yesterday, not 78k. Now I'm at 79,211 on Day 73. Obviously I will reach 80k tonight, come hell or high water (the latter of which would not be a surprise, considering how much it has rained lately.)
I'm still not sure how long this novel will be. My goal was 90k, and I'm just not getting the feeling that there's only 10k left to write. But it may surprise me... that has happened before. (Not that I'll complain if it's longer than 90k, mind you. That was just my goal.)
I think I'll get to kill someone soon. The first corpse in this entire book! (Named, that is. Minor characters have died.)
Onward.
