I just saw this happen in real life! No kidding--it was the weirdest thing I've ever seen! They were suspended from the siding right outside the kitchen door. Unfortunately, I--ah--interrupted them while trying to get a better look.
(That didn't sound quite right. But it was weird--this huge mass of slug (a 4 incher and a 2.5 incher, I'm assuming the larger one was female) just hanging from my house!
