I caught Mom's cold (and Ethan's, and a couple of people from work had it too) over the weekend. It wasn't too bad, but yesterday it started getting a bit worse and this morning, it was even worse, so I called in sick. I don't want a cold right now. I really don't!
So I'm going to try to nip it in the bud, so to speak. I did get most of my clothes put away last night, however, and my room is looking much better. Maybe today I will finish putting them away.
For Christmas this year, I ordered from Amazon, L.L. Bean, Sierra Trading Post, Victoria's Secret (ugh!), Barnes & Nobles, Target, and Ebay. Out of all those websites, I paid for shipping twice. Everywhere else had a free shipping coupon that could be cashed in that I found from one of the "deal" websites (search 'coupon codes' for the specific store and you'll probably find some.) So I spent about $15 on shipping, where it could have been at least $70--probably more, since some of the stuff I ordered was rather heavy. It does pay to check if there are any coupons, that's for sure!
