What happens when you...
--attempt a half batch of Kentucky Chocolate Cream Candy even though you know it's too humid outside (I needed an excuse to use one of my new pots and I couldn't think of anything else) and predictably it crystalizes at 255 degrees, giving you approximately two cups of chocolate sugar...
--dump the chocolate sugar in a bowl, add 1 1/2 sticks of melted butter, 3 eggs, 1 cup flour, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, and nothing else...
--stir really well and then add three handsful of chocolate chips, because it just isn't chocolately enough...
--drop by 1/4 cup fulls into greased muffin tins (about 3/4ths full)
--and bake for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees, or when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out fairly clean?
I call it Dessert. Yum!
