Well, evidently 55% humidity is too humid to make Kentucky Cream Candy, because it crystallized before I even got to 235 degrees (which is 30 degrees off of the goal.) So oh well. I'll try again tomorrow, unless it's raining. (Worst case scenario has me making it Christmas weekend. Ack!)

So I'm not going to try again today, because last year I wasted three batches worth of sugar, butter, and water before I stopped. Instead, I'm going to take a stab at getting some other Christmas presents done. I do have a list of things to do, and I'm going to work on that a bit this afternoon.
