Is anyone else doing the Give One Get One for the XO laptops (One Laptop Per Child)? I had decided to budget enough to get one when I heard about it in October, but I completely forgot until now. (Okay, it just started yesterday, so I'm not late.) I have been saying for years that I hoped they ended up letting the general public purchase these, because I would want one.
Anyway, I thought that the site would be overloaded, but it's not! So we'll see when mine is supposed to be shipped. I don't need it by the holidays, of course; I think it's actually a bit old for Ethan (He's only five.) And who knows... maybe I'll use it myself, with the one year of free wireless that you get with it! :)
