The bread is very tasty. I'm impressed. That's two good recipes from the same cookbook so far!

The pizza worked out great, too. So now I have a sourdough pizza dough recipe and a good basic bread recipe. Next week, I'll make an actual larger loaf.

My only quibble with the recipe/cookbook so far is that it says it makes two loaves of bread, but the amount of flour is only about 3 1/2 cups, which is one loaf of bread.

I snuck back outside between storms to pick the rest of the blackberries that were ripe--and almost filled up the third quart! And now that it has finally stopped raining (for the second/third/fourth/fifth time), I'm going to sneak out into the garden before it starts again.
