First radish!

This is the kind that is supposed to be ready in 24 days. I picked it on accident (and enjoyed it immensely--there's nothing like a fresh radish's bite) but there are others coming along.

Tonight when I got home I thinned both the turnips and the radishes, saving what I thinned for greens. I'll make them tomorrow, I think, and probably thin some more, too.

My potatoes are about to bloom. I still can't quite believe that.

I'll post some more pictures tomorrow morning, since my climbing rosebush is bursting with blooms and there are some new flowers (I think) blooming too.
