I ended up with a dwarf Fuji and a dwarf Winesap apple tree from Lowe's. We decided against the cherries, and I'd really rather just get them from a nursery.
These two apple trees look very nice, so hopefully they will live long and prosper, giving me lots of apples. I'll be ordering the rest of them early next spring.
It's raining now, but not thundering anymore. I'll be moving along here soon, though, to go eat dessert while Mabel has her dinner.
Tomorrow evening I'll probably mulch between the rows of beans (and put new markers up; my old ones faded) and plant my two apple trees. At least this time I don't have to dig 13 holes. :)
