Well, the Zucchini Lasagna was a bit too watery, but once I drained it a bit, it was good! I can't complain. Next time I will try to cook and drain the zucchini first, perhaps. Jess made a very involved and interesting soup, Mom made potato salad (German, of course, and the only potato salad that should be allowed), Bekah and Ethan made gingerbread cookies, and Dad made chicken in wine. It was a feast!
And it rained, too--we had a nice half inch of rain. A lot of wind at my house, though, so when I got home I had to tie up some tomatoes and straighten the zucchini and remove the honeysuckle branches that blew into the squash.
I think my zucchini is going to all get ripe at once. Yikes!
