I am wondering if I should dress up for Halloween. I did just find a nice possibly gold silk skirt and an almost-matching burgundy and gold tapestry fabric short cape at Goodwill, and with a suitable blouse (which I'm pretty sure I still have somewhere) it would make a decent Victorian-esque costume that I could actually wear to work, even. If I wanted to dress up at work, which I don't usually do, but I'm considering it this year.

On the other hand, I have my civil war style dress, I have any combination of gyspy costumes and/or peasant or what-have-you, I also have RenFaire wear--hmm. I also have various Victorian style dresses that would do as well, provided they actually fit.

Maybe I should just go through the costume bags and see what I can find. But not tonight. I have time yet to think of something else if needed. Hmm.

If the weather cooperated, I would wear one of my long black dresses and my black cloak and sit out under my trellis (suitably decorated, of course) with flickering candles all around (provided we get a frost by then and the garden is finished) and play Morgan and pretend to be a ghost. ;)

I did have a really cool idea that I probably won't get to implement this year because I don't have enough black fabric. I thought it would be really cool to make a giant spider to put on top of my trellis in the garden. It would work best with some sort of glow-in-the-dark fabric, I think, but I'm not sure. It would be cool, though.
